Aim of the project
With this project we want to gain a better understanding of your experiences and opinions regarding monitoring and evaluation of clients with gastrointestinal symptoms. The results will be used in the Ph.D. project of Sandra Jent to develop a validated tool to assess the result quality. This can make the benefits of dietary advice more measurable for people with gastrointestinal symptoms
Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Legally recognised dietitians who have advised at least one person with gastrointestinal complaints in a clinical or outpatient setting within the past 12 months may participate. Under gastrointestinal symptoms, the following diseases are included for this interview: Irritable bowel syndrome (or suspected), Leaky Gut Syndrome (permeable bowel syndrome), crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, food intolerances, lactose intolerance, fructose malabsorption, histamine intolerance, celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, diarrhea and constipation. On the other hand, consultations of people with food allergies, liver and pancreatic diseases or after bariatric interventions are excluded.
